Hi,

Can someone please advise me on which torch this is and what gas it's using? Sorry for picture quality. It's the best one I could find.

Does the colour of the container provide an indication?

looks like a Sievert re-fillable propane bottle, not sure what the nozzle is,
you can get them from most plumbers merchants

Plus one on the sievert, the bottle looks like the primus 2000 refillable which i think can only be filled with propane

it is a primus 2000 torch,very old now had one about 30 years ago,you can get much better auto igniting ones now

I know you can get great torches like the superfire but I used this recently and it felt sufficient for my use and m hoping that its not as expensive either...
can anyone suggest an equivalent model?

2000 bottles were know as flame throwers in the 70s. Nothing better for clearing out your bowels if you turned it upside down near hairfelt!!

I remember once setting pipe felt on fire in the kitchen then racing up 2 flights of stairs into the attic to meet the flame coming out there

At just over £30 in B&Q it's a fantastic blow lamp & you can use Propane or MAPP gas;
