Does copper pipe need protection here?

Remodelling bathroom and plumber is fitting a shower mixer valve.

The copper pipe is between some insulated plasterboard and he has put some Drywall adhesive over the top.

Is this okay? Or should he have protected the pipe with something like denso tape or similar?

will be fine, definately dont use Denso , it will stain the finishing
