Does this look like asbestos?

I’ve recently moved into an early 1960’s house and have noticed under the stairs where the plaster is coming away this insulation? Does it look like asbestos or is there anything else it could be?
I’ve booked for a company to come and take a sample but they can’t come for another 2 weeks so any suggestions would be grateful

Looks like a load of hairs in it, bigger than asbestos fibres
And not sure why there’d be a random bit of asbestos in that position

My thoughts too, such a random place and it doesn’t look consistent throughout as it’s not present where other patches have come off
But no idea what it could be, random for any material to be there

Looks like old plasterboard to me, it's the thick brownish paper over its face. Plaster below, skim plaster over the top.
