Does this look like subsidence?

Hi all,

I have recently moved into my first home and I've just noticed this crack under the bay window at the front of the house (built circa. 1960).

Does anyone here have experience or thoughts on whether this is a cause for concern? Or what action can be taken to investigate?

The neighbours guttering always overflows when it rains - unsure if its simply a blocked pipe or something more sinister...

Many thanks.

J

Is there a drain or gully to the righthand side elevation?

Andy

Hi Andy, the drains for my house are on the other side (left side). The neighbours is next to this though but about 2m+ away. Cheers

Just re-read your message, there is a manhole cover on my side of the house, there is some dirt in there but the water does flow okay I've been out to check it in heavy rain.. (see pic)
