I recently posted a question about reslating my Roof due to the slating being done incorrectly. I am really gratefull for the response and am going to start ASAP.
However I have began to wonder about the overall construction of the roof. I am slightly concerned about how the Trusses are secured. To me they don't look to be secured at the top, and that the only thing securing them would be the Sarking Boards. However it may well be by untrained eye, not appreciating the mechanics of the roof?
Here are a few photos. I would really appreciate your opinion.
Garage
Truss secured at bottom with Bracket
Truss with no Bracket at the Top
Truss secured at bottom of low end.
Trusses Looking Up
Do you think all this looks as it should be?
Many Thanks
