Does this roof installation look correct?

Having the conservatory roof replaced, does this look correct?

It's just not tidy. I chalk line where the ridge would sit and fit the dry ridge to that line, to avoid seeing it and the wavy way it looks in your photo.

Also, the mortar should be 3 sand to 1 cement, I would have added black febtone so it matches in to the ridge colour.

The cuts on the ridge tiles could have been done neater and maybe making a lead cap where all 4 ridges meet might have looked better.

its a mess.
The ridge hip mitre is a big mess and need not be.
They could also clean the cement fibre slates off S hit everywhere

Not sure that I would be terribly happy with that if I'd paid for a professional to do it.

I'm DIY, constructed my first ever roof on our extensions and made sure to position the dry ridge kit in such a way that the ridge tile covered it all - seemed really obvious.

Also, don't think it helps that you can see foot prints etc and cement on the tiles, after the rain has washed that off will probably look tidier, but certainly not the neatest job. Having said that, I admire anyone who can tile a hipped roof with all of the angles going on!

The ridge kit showing is not wrong. it should be straight though. Should have gone to spec savers, and maybe bought a new trowel rather than use their feet

It's a million times better than that other job posted on here recently.

At least this one looks functionally correct, if untidy

Total rubbish. Not worth 50p
The cuts are wrong, there are CDRs missing , soakers not fitted correctly small slithers where there should be slate and halves.

It's just not fair that people are expected to pay for sub standard work like this.

If you think it's acceptable .. well maybe spec savers for you too...?

Looks horrid, sorry, definitely wouldn't accept that. Not not a fan of putting these roofs on conservatories myself. I always think they attract the type of trader whose just after a fast buck and touts on facebook.

Considering they can't cut concrete ridge tiles very well and these conversions are meant to be a light weight roof option, then why are they even using concrete ridge tiles?
