Hello All,
Just going through the NICEIC rules for registration now.
The bit were it says trading for 12 months, is this something that you will get quizzed on?

I wasn't.
The assessor didn't want to know if the works had been notified to building control either.

Well,

No dis-respect to you guys, i appreciate you have spent lots of hard earned cash etc etc, but hearing this doesn't really fill me with confidence as a non sparky.

Sounds like this whole domestic installer, Part P business is a balls up from start to finish! (wasn't it soooo much simpler before?)

Just my opinion of course! :)
 
heh, just about anyone can sign up with one of these schemes, if you can afford £400 a year then your competant :LOL:

(you do need to have 2381, be able to demonstrate testing ability and have insurance though)

If crafty wants to post a pic of his CU wired by a NICEIC DI....
