Door cill missing draught excluder

There is some rubber/plastic missing from the door - well it snapped a while ago and laziness has stopped me until now (it’s cold) to get this sorted!

I absolutely hate the cill! And was wondering does anyone know if

1. Can I fit something in the short term to fix the draught?
2. Can the horrible cill be replaced relatively easily with a better colour one?
3. Does this have a model number? I am going to be ripping the door out during a massive renovation project, however I am happy to spend a few £££ now getting this sorted!
4. The spongy bits also damaged and needs replacing and is it replaceable?

The foam gasket around the frame is replaceable, however if your intention is to replace the entire door (next year?) is there really any point? If it's lost all compression and is letting drafts in you could try replacing it with this:

Black Universal Gasket Double Glazing Window and Door Seal

As for the rubber gasket in the threshold, again yes this can be replaced. Ideally it's good to know the make/model of threshold however if unknown, measure the tolerances and Google stuff like 'threshold replacement seal' for a replacement. Obviously you'd need to remove the remaining part of the original seal that's still embedded in the threshold. You also get sample packs which might be a good idea if unsure what exact one you need to order.

Either that or just use a good old fashioned draft excluder until the new door's fitted

Thanks for the reply! I thought the other black bit in the cill needs removing. How do u know what to replace it with? Some are angled when they exit - I will remove the black bit inside and see what that comes out like to understand if I can figure it out…

I am not advertising this site but the gaskets are all different and I haven’t a clue what to go for?

To be honest, unless someone on here says 'you need to replace it with x' with x being the exact type of gasket you require, it's kind of up to you to figure it out as you're the only one who can take measurements etc.

As long as you know the gasket will locate securely in the threshold, you could always go for a straight up and down one. Or, if you're happy enough to bodge it because you know the entire door's getting replaced you could superglue something like this either to the underside of the door (might be too fiddly) or to the threshold, running it along the same location as the original gasket.
