Im lookin for a door handle for my bathroom, but I want the lock built into the handle, when you turn the lock you are unable to move the door handle. Does anyone have any ideas where I can get this from, surely its not un common?

there is also a thing called a knobset (or lockset), popular in America. You have to cut a large round hole instead of a mortice as the spring and some of the mechanism is attached to the plate behind the knob.

I don't like them myself because of the big hole. But it will do what you've asked for. You want the Privacy set. You can also get then with a cylinder lock and plain passage sets. You can't change the knob to match any others you already have.

I prefer the mortice bathroom lock which has a bolt like a doorlock, but it is operated by a snib not a key.

For bathroom use, you can generally have an emergency access from outside with a screwdriver or pin on both these types.
