Hi,

I am new to this forum and was hoping somebody could help. Has anybody come across this type of door hinge? Its for a composite door which has dropped and needs adjustment. I don't know how to pop back the chrome to the adjustment inside and I'm wondering if anybody can help?

This is different to the usual and its left me dumbfounded :(

Open the door and look at the back of the hinge, you should see 3 pegs, the centre one has a HEX part which you turn with a thin.......very thin spanner, this moves the door slab sideways in the frame so the top needs to go over to the hinge side while the bottom hinge needs winding to the lock side, let it pivot on the centre hinge. I don't think there is any basic up and down adjustment on these hinges

Hi, I've seen the 3 pegs and the centre one with the hex (looks to be welded on) when I looked at it. To be honest I didn't think this would move as it looks fixed but I will give it a go.

Thanks a lot for your help. Hopefully this works! I'll post a photo so others can see for reference.

It worked like a dream. As mentioned I have attached a photo for others for reference. Thanks again crank 39!!!
