Door lock fault on Candy grando washing machine

Hi, can anyone help. We have a candy grando washing when we select a cycle and press start the door locks but the light for the door lock keeps on flashing and won't start the cycle. Does anyone know what the problem is and is it easily fixed could we do it our selves.....
