my machine is a whirlpool wwdc 6210 and the machine is dead when switched on .I have checked the fuse and have continuity up tp the control module ,im trying to test the door switch (which has 3 connections) printed on switch is 2-1...closing, any ideas how to check if switch is working ?

One live. One neutral usually the thinnest wire and one common or switch wire. When the lock is latched over the supply goes from live to the common. Resistance checks from live to common when the lock is closed position should be very low ohms.
