Door wont close?

Hi all
Hoping for some advice? Recently moved into a new home and two of the bedroom doors won't close as it appears they are too big? Please see pic.
What do I do to get the doors to fit? Don't really want to scrape them down but can't see any other option?

You need to plane them down to fit.

It's also worth checking the hinges haven't spread and the screws are tight.

If they ever fitted then the top hinge is loose, probably in the cheap hollow door. Show entire door not half the problem.p

Protruding screw heads and half a gallon of paint seem to be stopping it closing .Have you measured the opening and the door?
