Hi,

I’m not sure if our dormers have been installed correctly. There appears to be a large gap to each side where you can see the insulation. Also it appears to be de-laminating on the side. What would you recommend? How can you repair the de-lamination? How should I approach my builder?

Thanks

Phil

You approach them by telling them what you are telling us. Looks like a big hole for birds to make nest.

Thanks, And is the delaminating part repairable?
Donno. But people, especially roofers, think I am nuts for using hybrid polymer sealant to fill everything. The delamination may well continue because of different expansion and contraction rates of the two materials.

Looks like the fascia has been fitted short .
Get a chippy to extend or block out with real materials .
