hi, I need to repair a section in my plasterboard, i have cut out the section to make it square and ready for the new piece of plasterboard. I’m just wondering if it’s ok to just dot and dab it to the wall behind? There isn’t enough room to get any batten in to secure the new board to. Hope this makes sense.

Yeah dot and dab should be fine. Pva the wall first and allow to go tacky
