Keeping it brief:
Gas and electric box used to jut out into living room, they have been demolished and relocated.
The gap left by the 'box' has been bricked up level(ish) with the existing masonary in the wall.
The whole wall will require plastering works to get the required finish, is it easier to dot and dab the whole wall on the upon the old plaster, thus bridging the bricked up gap. (thus losing a cm or 2 in the room)
or can i get just the gap boarded and skim across the whole wall (i`m concerned what the quality of finish might be by doing this?)
advice very much appreciated as i`m planning the plumbing and electrics on this wall and want to know what i`m doing with it.
thanks
Alex
