Hi,
My neighbour (a widow) has just discovered that one of her double glazed windows has got condensation inside it. The house is just 4 years old and inside the unit has Pilkington Insulight plus code numbers stamped on the surround between the glass. Our windows were fitted by a local company. Question: Who should she contact in the first instance and would she be correct in asking either the local company and/or pilkington what the warranty period on these are. She doesn't feel the builder is going to be very helpful as she already has another issue with him. I would think that double glazed units should have a number of years warrantee on them. Am I right?
