I have double glazing which is about 6 years old.
One of the windows no longer opens. In order to open the window, there is a button which is pressed in and held in place, then the leaver handle is pulled up. There is a 'pipe' which should move upwards but it is still in the sill so when I push the window open, because the pipe is still in the sill, I cannot open.
I cannot access the window from the outside as it is on the 4th floor. This is the fire exist window as well, which means it should open fully in case of emergency.
Is there something easy I can do like unscrew the handle? I hope that you can help me. Hopefully someone can provide a simple solution.
Thank you.
