I know from recent polls... you're mostly a bunch of old t0ssers (me included !). But are any of you off to Download this weekend?

I'm going tomorrow... back home Saturday for the footie, and then back to Download on Sunday...

(for the record, i have hired a team of ex SAS security to look after my house whilst i'm gone, so any crims looking in to the old tinternet to fund your crack habit.... unlucky!! )

which bands would you like to see?
I'm an old zep fan, so them crooked vultures is the first chance i've had to see JPJ.. i quite like Ac/dc... really like killswitch engage.... and then Aerosmith on Sunday..

Aerosmith, Rage Against the Machine, ACDC, would like to see them live

Also Slash is on this year, amazing guitarist, hes the reason I started learning the guitar years ago.

Theres lots of pretty unknown bands who will give a good show.....wish I was going now

The dont have pop festivals like they used to. You cant beat puking up on Theakstons Old Peculiar under the sound tower at Nostell Priory, holding a spliff, whilst Pink Floyd pound out 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond' at 110,000 watts.

Download is £3 per tuborg... or 5 for £15 (or it was last year..)..

If it wasnt for H&S, Download festival would prob be the loudest music event in history. They have had bands perform there like Gallows who hold the record for the loudest dB output, unless someone has broke the 130+ decibels they gave out

Floyd are / were one of the greatest bands ever.

Aussie Floyd are just as good - if you get the chance to see them, GO, you will not be disappointed

They are great, i'm a big Floyd fan. Been to see teh Aussie Floyd show twice, for a tribute band they are unreal
