I've got a downpipe that goes through a lean to shed. It has a rubber roof and I have used the epdm tape to make the entry point watertight. With the rain and snow that we had, I noticed that there was some water on this pipe - inside the shed. it looks more like condensation but not sure why I would have condensation. There is no heating in the shed but perhaps its not as cold as the outdoors? I don't see a pool of water anywhere.

I would appreciate your advice on this.

where are you in the UK, I didnt know there has been any snow yet this year

you will find that on some days, especially very cold mornings where there is a bit of sun, the pipe might be very cold but the shed warms up a bit so the air is warmer and its condensing on the pipe as it falls below the dew point

note that the warmer the air, the more moisture it can hold as vapour

A covering of snow overnight last night across lots of the UK midlands, and low air temperatures everywhere.

Most sheds will be warmer than outside, especially in the evening/night as they store the earlier warmer temperatures.

Then you'll get dew on the outside of the shed in the morning, because the shed will be colder than the air.

All totally normal.
