Downpipe through lean to - help please

I'm building a lean to down the side of my house.

It's a wooden framed structure, tiled roof, and will be wood cladded. It's 3.5m long, and 1.4m wide. The structure butts up to brick at the end and down one side. No gutter due to the tight space. It's for similar usage as a shed, but as it's attached to the house I've decided to make it in keeping with the house from a tiling finish perspective.

The challenge is I have a downpipe coming from the main roof gutter on the short wall end which will need to go through the lean to roof. I can't move it, and I don't want to put a downpipe shoe to offload it onto the lean to roof with no gutter.

With it being a downpipe it's only 40mm or so from the wall. The only products I can find are like this one which are quite bulky, and I'm not sure could work. Suppose I could find a smaller version and fold the aluminium up the wall? I'll be tying the roof into both brick walls with lead flashing. So the lead would go over the top of such a product?!

Hopefully someone that knows what they're doing with this can help direct me.

We use a pitched lead multi-slate. Similar to yours but more flexible and a wee bit less bulky.

Here's one in action with an SVP against a house....

You cut your own size hole in the top and cut it quite a bit smaller than the diameter of the recipient pipe as it stretches over the pipe, for a snug fit. You will have to cut the down-pipe and reconnect with a socket. Cut the down-pipe 400mm or so above the roof line.

Many thanks for taking the time to post that. I'll look for a smaller multi-slate like the one you've pictured.

Mine will be installed next to a wall where the leading will be stepped, like the top left of your picture example above. Any tips for installing them close to a wall with stepped leading? Thanks.

Always start from low to high. Think about how the water will travel. Your muti-slate will simply replace the soakers at this point and should lap over your last tile (beneath) and under (above), and be covered by the stepped cover flashing*. If the down-pipe is too close to the wall then pack it away from the wall by adding spacers behind the DP clips. Re-set the DP back to the desired position within the shed if needed.

* Based upon a plain tile roof.

Thanks...I've got it I think. The tiles are concrete by the way. These Marley Ashmore interlocking ones to be exact to match the existing roof.
