Downstairs Extension Bathroom

Almost finished with the work from my extension. Part of that was converting the old tiny kitchen into a downstairs shower room with loo. Just a bit of grouting to go.....then onto next room!!!

the old kitchen, bloody floor was a nightmare to get up!

Floor boards up yo make way for soil pipe and drainage

Lowered ceiling and lighting going in

Sink on the wall

all the doors on and a bi-fold on the boiler cupboard

Tiles on around the sink

Flooring and skirting down...well almost

Shower fitted and walls tiled

Just finishing off some bits today then done!!!

Thanks Darth...yeah great choice on the towel holder, ended up buying all the bits from next, loo roll holder, hooks, hand towel holder etc..thanks for the advice...ive added some more pics as well. Cheers mate.


to answer mikes question, it took quite a few months as i had to get all the services in place ready for everything to go in. Then I stopped work on the bathroom to fit my kitchen, tile the floors in kitchen and conservatory, and get the kitchen sorted basicallly. If i added up all the days/ evenings spent work on the bathroom i would say about 3-4 weeks. I did have to build all the stud walls, fit 3 doors, lay the wood floor tile, lay the soil and drainage pipes and fit the suite. Im amazed I had the energy....just shows the motivation when you have the girlfriend on your back ! ha!

the loo!...ended up boxing it all in with no access....Was becoming a right pain trying to keep it all straight..I may regret i later.
