Downstairs radiators not heating :-(

Evening all,

Wonder if someone could help please?

Over the past day or two, the downstairs radiators have stopped working. Upstairs there are 3, the two closest to the pump work fine, the furthest of those three works slightly. Downstairs have no heat at all.

We have bleed all the radiators but no air in any of them - just clear water.

We are rubbish at DIY and so have no idea what to do next - hope someone can help.

Hi there, pump would be the first to try if there has been no intervention to boiler or system while working ok to being faulty.

Sounds like the pump needs replacing.

quicker and cheaper is to try balancing them first.

you might also have sludge.
