I do an article every month for a local magazine on DIY. Their Agony Aunt was off sick and they asked me to fill in at the last minute.

This was the letter and my reply, apparently they don't want me to fill in for the AA any more, I really don't understand why!

Dear Agony Aunt
I left home for work last week and after less than a mile my car
stalled and wouldn't start.

I walked back to my house and found my husband in bed with our 19 year
old babysitter.

They announced that the affair had been going on for two years.

Can you help me…I’m desperate.

Dear Reader
The most common cause of vehicles breaking down in the first mile is
dirt in the fuel lines. Hope this helps..

Similar - Mother in law uses her spare key to get her son's washing, and finds his wife lying naked, spread out on the settee, awaiting the return of her husband..shocked, she quickly covers up, and offers her apologies, well, she says, it's his birthday, so I thought I'd surprise him, by wearing my birthday suit....


Mother in law, later, tries the same ploy on her husband, so sprinkles some rose petals about, lights candles, and lays on the sofa, waiting for her husband to come home...

He enters the room, takes one look, and states, "I don't know what you are wearing love, but it needs ironing....",
