I am just about to remove all the rads in a house i have bought, but there is no drain off point. How do i go about draining down ?

The hall rad has been removed and one end capped off, but the other still has the old valve in place. I assume it is just shut off. I cannot see any drain off under the water heater for the heating as well.

Do i just remove a rad and push my garden pipe onto the 15mm copper pipe sticking out of the floor ?

If it's a suspended wood floor Trevor, have a good look around the house at ventilator level. Falling that, you may be able to get a hose connected to the radiator valve in your Hall. A photo would help.... ;)

You can buy self cutting drain cocks. You clamp it round a 15mm pipe and screw the drain cock into which will then cut into the pipe. I wouldn't leave it there permanently but once it's drained down you can sort that out easily and out a permanent one in its place.
