Hi
We had our drains relined yesterday which runs under our house (kitchen). There is still a very strong chemical smell in the house today (24 hours after) and its so strong that you can not really stay in the kitchen or adjacent rooms for very long as its so strong a chemical smell. You can even smell it if you open the kitchen cupboards.
We have had the windows open but makes little difference as the chemical smell is coming up from the ground.
I just wanted to ask if this is normal? I thought the smell would go quite quickly once the resin used for relining the drains had set, which should be about an hour?
Many Thanks
