Hello all,
Started a self-build extension and not sure how to proceed with the new bathroom drainage layout.
I've added my drawings with the drainage plan however I wish to add a shower in the WC and not sure how to the waste layout will work. I plan to add a shower to the right side, then a toilet and then a basin (pic attached as a rough idea ). I've already laid the 110mm pipe and relocated the inspection chamber the WC room. The 110mm pipe ended up about 200mm from the right side of the room and is pointing upwards vertically from a 90' bend coupling. The floor is block and beam however only loosely laid so I can pick them up if needed for access. The bit I'm struggling with is:
I don't want to have any boxing as the space is already pretty tight, so can I run vertical pipes through the block and beam floor and connect all the waste pipes (sink, toilet, shower and kitchen waste) underneath? Is that practical?
If so, what’s the best way? It was a combination of traps/bend and pipes how is best to secure them.
Also will it need some sort of venting?
Hope this makes sense.
Neil
