Drainage for washing machine

Hi I want to move my washing maching to the utility extension, I would then be plumbing the waste pipe into another drain pipe currently used for the guttering. Does it matter what type of drain you use as outlet for the wasing machine?

yes your guttering may only go to a soak a way and can't be used to drain the w/m waste.
