Drainage - hardcore depth on top

I have connected up my aco drainage but the top of the horizontal drainage (adjustable connector) is only 20cm below the finished paving level

I’m putting 100mm hardcore down followed by 50mm mortar bed and 22mm slab

Is it okay that I will be pretty much compacting 100mm hardcore directly above the highest part of the (horizontal) pipe run

All looks good to me. Just make sure you surround the plastic pipe with pea gravel.

Cheers. Should I basically fill the whole hole with pea gravel (level with soil) and then finish with 100mm hardcore as per patio …
