Drainage problems

I have a GE Potscrubber900 (old model, came with the house) and we are now having a problem with water not draining. I can cycle through the function dial and hear the water START to drain through the sink but it promptly stops.

This function dial also has a problem getting stuck, thought that bit of info might help.
Any ideas?
