Hello, moving a rad and have only ever done so on a vented system, now have sealed combi system, do I have to drain it completey? If so how do I do it? I am having to move the pipes and change the valves etc, any advice greatly appreciated.

If you've changed a rad before then you probably already know all about draining, refilling and venting. The only extra detail with a combi is that in order to re-fill the system you will need to use the filling loop, and watch the pressure carefully so that it gets to about 1.0 bar.

Drain from a drain cock - ideally one below the rad where you're working. If none found then look in the area under the boiler.
 
Hi I have the same problem,unfortuneatly I have not replaced a radiator before can you give me some tips it is on a sealed system.
