Hi folks,

Just moved into a new place (see my other Boiler post for details!).

I have a minor, but frustrating, problem. The kitchen sink unit installed (impossible to ID manufacturer) has a separate waste drain hole for the draining board. This has what appears to be a custom waste fitting in it, which goes into a 3/4" elbow pipe to the main waste pipe. This fitting is broken, the thread on the plastic piece has gone so the fitting is loose in the hole.

The waste hole fitting itself itself appears to be non-standard. The hole diameter is 33mm. I've tried caravan plumbing suppliers, but nothing is quite the right size.

Does anyone know where to get such fittings? What are other options - gluing it?

Thanks!

Is the thread snapped or just worn? Have you tried some PTFE on the thread, you may be able to get it to grip.
