Hi All

I need to draft proof my front door. I've been looking at the foam draft proofing strips (sold in rolls).
There are quite a few different types, like 'p' style and 'E' style. Etc..
Is there anyone who can explain when the different style of strips should be used?

Thanks

Sups

They work by compression and are only suitable for uniform gaps or they push the door open where it’s tightest resulting in a seal that’s just as poor as having no seal.
The secondary external seals work better by creating a secondary seal on the outside which can follow any misalignment.
Door frame seal with book fold design work by being compressed but are very thin so work better with uneven gaps.
For base of door you can get brush or rubber door seals depending on flooring .

Example of exterior door seal.
