Draughty Composite Door also Letting Water in

Hi all, we had a brand new composite door installed back in February. I noticed in May that water was getting in and now it's winter it's also quite draughty - the door is often just cold on the inside and the hall where the door is can be a lot colder than the rest of the house. I've had no joy getting anyone to come out to even look at this and I would like to fix it myself where possible.

I've attached some pictures that might show the offending items.

The first one is the corner of the track, the black strip doesn't go all the way to the end there and I'm pretty sure water, when it hits the track, is going into the house as well as out the drainage holes - see the second picture for where it's all forming.

The other issue is the draught. On windy days you can feel it around the edges of the door, but especially where the deadbolt goes, if you see the third picture.

The last picture is the general pile strip. Notice one gap that's in there.

I think I can use silicone sealant for the water issue, or perhaps even just replace the whole strip? I amn not sure what can be done about the draught though.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Sounds to me like some of the issue is compression. How tight is the door in the door frame when the door is closed and and the handle pulled up ( I'm.assuming it's a standard handle and not a bar ). The door should be closed fairly tight against it's seals and then no water should be penetrating further... and no breeze. Just bear in mind, full compression isn't achieved until all locking points are engaged

Hi ronniecabers, thanks for getting back to me.

So the door when closed and the handle (standard handle) up seems pretty tight at the bottom but as you move up towards the top it moves in the frame more. Only by a couple of millimetres or so though. Should it move at all? I believe there should be compression screws I could adjust if this is the problem.
