New to this forum and can see that the above actuator does seem to be problematic.
I have the problem where CH comes on with HW even though CH turned off.
After trawling thru other forums I took the top off the actuator to see if the return spring was intact and connected. All was OK and I put the lid back on.
Decided to check the wiring - all seemed OK.
However, now, the boiler does not fire up even with both CH and HW on.
Question. If the actuator is broken does this stop the system firing up?
