Good evening, I've just bought a Hive system, consisting of a Nano Hub 2 , a dual channel receiver and a thermostat.

I have an oil fired boiler, Vortex Kitchen, a hot water cylinder and dual motorised valves. There is a HIneytwell thermostat too.

My question is, the back plate seems to be wired to receive the HIVE controller straight on, and when I connected it, it was all fine, green light came on and both the hot water and CH valves "released" when the buttons were pressed. It's all working as it should but can I check if the wiring in the first picture looks correct ? I've read in some threads that there needs to be a link from live to no2 on the back plate but on others not.

The only thing that did happen was that the main light went red after about 10 minutes but that may be down to the hub becoming disconnected, someone unplugged it.

Just checking if the wiring is ok for my setup.

Any advice at all please ?

Thanks in advance

Looks ok from what I can gather. Links generally only needed for single channel versions, yours should be a dual channel, which does its own switching internally.
