No, seriously, when the cheapo drill is running free, it generates a lot of noise. Too much in fact. The moment I lower the chuck i.e. using the handle/lever, it goes to what I consider as normal operating noise, so the problem is no more. But running free it's just too loud. What's the easiest way to temper that noise? I would think some dampening bit between the chuck and quill should do it, but I've found nothing that stays put. Any suggestions?
