Hi Everyone,

Had to put a whiteboard up and drilled through the wall thinking nothing of it (Silly I know!), However it's an older building and I fear I've drilled into asbestos... Have included a picture of one of the drill holes....

Finally, on the other wall when new radiators were put in years ago, they scraped away the wall covering I think? Here's what it looks like:

Thanks in advance everyone - panicking now I've drilled into this without even thinking :/

Looks like plaster. What makes you think it's asbestos? And that's a puny little hole. What exactly are you afraid of? That the asbestos boogyman will escape and get you in your sleep?

I thought that and just with it being a really old building, feel like I've maybe grown up in the HSE generation with everything out to get you haha!! Here's a better pic below (I drilled another 4 holes all with screws in them now, just that one that I took a pic of...)

Think I'm just being a bit OTT here and after reading asbestos horror stories I think I'm just taking anything out with my limited DIY experience in a new build as something all scary and dangerous :/ - appreciate the reply though.

I'd be more frightened of that poxy woodchip wallpaper than a bit of asbestos which isn't in your plaster.;)

haha!! It's a new home office - certainly not my style ;) Phew bit of relief now between both of you, don't know why I went into panic mode haha!
