I am putting a fence up for a relative.

I have attached a post to a wall and have attached arris rails - I am trying to screw the arris brackets on but because they back onto a wall it is difficult to angle my drill into position.

Looks like I need something like this

or this

The flexible one looks like a safer bet as it is less bulkly

I presume I put the thin end into the drill and then put my drill bits into the other end and then just hold it - I spsoe you cannot get much power on it.

The flexible though actually looks like it is longer in terms of what will be sticking out compared to the bent one so may not fit where I want it.

Something a bit more compact like this would be ideal but too expensive for me needs

I'd avoid the flexible drive one here.....it can tie itself in knots but it will handle small diameter drills.
The angle drive is handy so long as you use both hands when using it.....I bought an Aldi one that lasted for one hole only  Can't comment on the Screwfix one!
John :)

I should have added.....if using a flexy drive, clamp the drill down or get someone to hold it for you!

including the screw and the screwdriver bit [about 75mm ]will you have enough room for an angle drill
remember only battery drills can power an angle/flexi driver
