dripping tap

hello,
my tap in the kitchen has been dripping for sometime now. can anyone tell me how to fix this(image below) is it a case of changing a washer or do i have to change the whole tap?.if its the washer ,how do i get access to the washer in this tap. sorry guys but i am useless with plumbing.please help.

Quarter-turn taps have ceramic valves which have to be replaced. Unless you have the name of the tap it's pretty difficult to try to find a valve which fits.
Taps are so cheap now that it isn't worth a lot of effort (easy to say when I don't have to pay a plumber).

i dont really know the name of the tap. you reckon i should get a plumber in to fix it. it does not look like a straight forward job.
