Not quite sure on the best way to do this. The ramp up to the garage is alongside the house and extends above the house DPC. the builder left a gap between the ramp and house and no doubt aware of the issue filled the gap with pea shingle.
Not really ideal it gets full of weeds (mrs is a keen gardener and so we are species rich) and attracts more soil. Which soon goes over the DPC (by 2 bricks). The gap forms part of the drain lower down the drive.
Tempted to concrete in the gap to complete the drain. At the highest point the concrete will be 1/2 a brick below the DPC which isnt ideal but go to be better than 2 bricks above. We didnt have any amp problems before, but still want to fix the issue.
Any better idea.
