Hasn't even been grouted yet :(

I had to cut it with the grinder without hitting the underfloor heating

Mrs H is going to carefully remove the adhesive before she sticks a new one in.

It's fixed now. It took me an hour to remove the adhesive from under but placing the new tiles was easy and it all grouted now.

No more hammers in the bathroom!!!

Better than dropping a brand new wood chisel onto a just installed and tiled in shower tray..

I used said wood chisel to shave flat the bit of shower tray that was gouged proud, then painted over the damage with the 2 part acrylic kitchen paint. It's barely noticeable..

All trades do it.... luvverly quadrant shower tray, all tiled and sealed up. Great, now I can fit the new shower valve onto the pipework I have carefully positioned.

'Ol butterfingers me, drops the valve denting that. And takes a chunk out of the upstand on the tray.

No profit on that bathroom.

And to think a bit of thick carpet offcut would be the fine line between profit and pain..

Now who had the signature on here that said, "experience is the name we give to our mistakes".
