Has anyone got any info or links to info on using air to dry pressure test copper pipe?

Yon can do it at low pressure for gas pipes but should not do it at high pressure.

You shouldn't really dry test at all, as if a fitting blows off and hits someone it'll have a good chance of killing them, though you'd be rather unlucky for that to happen

Guessing you have answerd my question then it is best just used for gas as 1.5 its working pressure is 30mb. Were as water you can be talking above 5 bar

With gas you are testing to see if there are any leaks.

With high pressure water you are testing to see if any fittings get blown off.

Air/gas has a very low viscosity and will leak from a very small hole.
