Dry Ridge between two roofs

Hi,

I am fitting a dry ridge system as part of a bigger roof tile replacement project & need some advice, this is on a bungalow with Dorma's - my question is this, the ridge on the Dorma's are the same height as the ridge on the main roof so require connecting, currently they are joined as per the picture, is there a better way of connecting the two ridges with like a T shape ridge tile?

As I will be replacing with a dry ridge system I am trying to work out if I would need to overlap the two membranes for the system, which makes sense to me or is there something else I should be looking at?

Might involve a bit of lead flashing/apron, you could always ask the manufacturer in case they have a better solution

Yeah this is what I am leaning to, I can find loads of prefab ones for different joints but not this so may have to be a manual made one - didn't really want to use mortar to bed then all in if I can help it.

Will reach out to Marley and see what they say as they also sell the dry system, if anyone else has any ideas please let me know.

In my opinion not much info/advice about for DIY roof work - the products are definitely not considered DIY and prior knowledge is assumed. Leadwork is quite skilled for a DIYer but fortunately any "manipulation" needed to get it to sit right can be hidden under the ridge tiles.

I have 3 fairly tricky intersections to do on my silly roof, not looking forward to it but I have a roll of 600mm wide lead which I hope will hide a multitude of sins!

For the amusement of the roofers here's my attempt on the one round the back, those mitres aren't easy.

So I would shape a piece of lead to bridge the two sections then run the dry system over the top and put the tiles as close to each other as possible ?

I know, I'm ashamed of the mess I've made, doing the cuts on the scaffold then running the dust all over the place! I hope it washes off.
