Hi all,
Couple of questions from me. I am undertaking an extension and at the roofing stage. I have had the structure of the roof built by someone and I am planning to undertake everything else - how hard can it be!
Is there a consensus on a better system for valleys? Dry or not? I was planning to use a dry valley but the only issue I can see is that if something get wedged in it might cause an issue, what are peoples thoughts?
Also, I am planning to have to have the render on the gable end go up to the underside of the fireboard - so no bargeboard. How is the fireboard fixed to the gable end and how do the batons fix to the gable end. Surely the last fixing point for the baton isnt on the rafter against the internal skin of the cavity wall is it?
Your advice would be much appreciated.
Adam
