Dual appliance box

I bought a polar click dual appliance connector and the 40mm pattress box. I had a check of the measurements and with the pattress box on the wall behind the oven, i would not get the oven far enough back into the base unit. The oven sits on a shelf around 100mm above the bottom of the base of the unit, could the dual appliance connector be sited within the base unit, under the oven in this void?

Use a flush mounting box or mount in the adjacent cupboard. The connections must be accessible, which in the base unit void probably won't be - and you are quite likely to want to change the oven or pull it out completely for cleaning/servicing at some point.

You don't really need a 40mm. pattress as the wires more or less fit flat in the cover part.

Can you not fit it where there is a bit more room at the back of the oven?
