I predict a hot summer for this reason, when i was a child if a bird has double hatchings then the summer lasted longer, i have ducks coming down in my pond for the last 4 yrs having babies.

She is laying another load believing that the summer shall be better.

Mr Heron has took two ducks at about 3-4 weeks old, so we have six 4 week old ducks on the pond, pretty much abandoned by the mother. So i thought.

Today, another mother duck was on the pond with 11 babies, i checked the original mum and she is sat on a good few eggs.

Looks like a good summer, going to the bookies for a bet
