I didn't anticipate this being so expensive. In the kitchen we are renovating we need to take the air
- up about 1.5 m vertically
- back from the wall to get around a steel beam sitting between the first two joists wehre the fireplace was removed
- then up into the attic and across about 2.5m of floor before venting through the eaves.
I'd wanted to do this in rigid pipe to improve air flow but based on the prices here
http://www.applianceplanet.co.uk/cooker-hood-extractor-ducting/five-inch-125mm-ducting/
it looks like about £100 worth of fittings.
Any other suggestions?
