I'm looking to install a fan light combination on the ceiling within my shower enclosure. I don't want to go to the trouble and expense of ducting the steam out through the wall.
Is it OK to place the ducting hose in the header tank of the central heating system.
Alternatively if I purchase a small header tank, place the ducting inside and seal the top of the header tank and feed a 15mm pipe (or smaller) from the header tank into the 32mm shower waste pipe in the bathroom below. This of course begs the question of whether it's possible to connect the 15mm pipe (or smaller) into the 32mm waste pipe.
A second alternative was to connect the 15mm from the new small header tank or plastic box to the overflow pipe of the central heating header tank.
All help would be appreciated.
