Hi,

I finally got around to at least start digging out the soil that rests on my garage wall but wondering best steps next as my situation doesn’t seem to match any others I have seen as the slab on my garage comes quite far out.

On the photos where the shovel is stood is the end of the slab I’m not sure if I can just damp proof the wall and slab then back fill with pebbles or if I’d need to dig next to the slab to fit a drain and then damp proof the wall and fill.

Inside is going to have a dpm on the floor then insulation and then whatever I need to go on top of that and the walls will be stud, vapour barrier etc etc

Thanks for any insight

2 bricks up from the bottom I’m assuming so it carried on around the same level all away around the garage but it’s buried 4 bricks under the soil so dpc is on top of brick 2 from the base and then 4 bricks on top of that deep with soil (won’t be filled with soil when done.)
